BIOG Gabrielle is originally from the North-West of England, having moved to Bristol to study Fine Art at UWE. Her focus is on landscapes of favourite places especially views with large horizons, skies and city lights using mainly oils on canvas, but also chalk, graphite, felt tips and pencil. Her landscapes are based on quick snapshots, with changing weather conditions and times of day as essential parts of the work. The result is an image which reminds the viewer of the location – dreamlike and abstracted.
