Mixing 900 years of history with dance, art, music and celebration, this breath-taking venue gives the sense of being an ethereal abandoned church, with all the warmth and delight of a beautifully modern creative space, right in the heart of Bristol.

Sympathetically rebuilt following extensive fire damage, The Mount Without continues to be a gathering space. The Main Hall and The Crypt offer the perfect setting for a variety of performances and events.

The Mount Without events is solely dedicated to curating Private & Public Events, from art exhibitions, concerts, private soiree’s, weddings, music gigs, holistic and immersive experiences and IMPERMANENCE create a place for dance in Bristol, with a programme of cutting-edge productions, alongside training and rehearsal space for dancers…

    James Saywell joins us for his second solo show with us here at The Mount Without. Featuring his newest pieces of work, James exhibits dreamlike abstract portraits which blend into our withered walls with faces emerging as you pass through the space.

    Come along to our preview night on the 1st April 17:00 - 22:00 and join us for a drink and gander through some works.
