10 - 11.15am _ Morning Class
A class to gently start the week and connect with your body. Aimed at, but not exclusively for, people over 50 who want to develop their balance, coordination, flexibility and strength in a safe but challenging way. We will work slowly and deeply to get the endorphins flowing and the body responding to some key contemporary dance patterns and techniques.
4.30 - 5.45pm _ Youth Training
A contemporary class for young people (aged 13 - 20) who are keen to develop their technique. This is the first time we’ve held a class like this, so we will respond and adapt to who is in the room and shape the offer as time goes on.
6.15 - 7.30pm _ Open Contemporary
Class will build on basic principles of contemporary movement vocabularies that develop in complexity each week. Expect to explore co-ordination and form, patterns and sequences, musicality, quality and expression... Whilst developing strength, flexibility, confidence and connection to your own artistic capacity.
This is an open level class, though pace and dynamism will build over the course. Some experience of a movement practice is recommended.
7.45 - 9pm _ MOVE
Open to adults of all abilities and dance experience. Come and start the week with a fun, feel good dance workout which will lean on disco, jazz, aerobics and contemporary styles. We will have an extended warm up, stretch and some strengthening exercises followed by a routine to get you moving to some amazing tunes.
