Bristol Japanese Cultural Showcase 2026

Join us for a wonderful programme of Japanese performance art, market stalls, food, drink, and a blend of traditional and modern cultural experiences.

TWO ROOMS TO EXPLORE

Visit the main hall for mouth-watering hot food by Daikan, stunning cakes and hot drinks by Sugarcane Studio, trader stalls, fun workshops and activities, and an array of live performances on the main stage.

Go downstairs to the Crypt for more trader stalls, a Majhong workshop, a bar for cold drinks, and a chance to experience shiatsu massage and the art of kintsugi*.

You do not require a ticket to the showcase to take part in the kintsugi workshop.

13.15 - 14.15: Break- Main hall closed for reset. Crypt open for shopping and workshops

TICKETS

Tickets for morning and afternoon sessions are sold separately. If you wish to attend both sessions, please secure tickets for both.

Children aged 7 and younger go free.
One official carer accompanying a paying disabled visitor is admitted free of charge.

ACCESS

Disabled Access information from venue:
There is a ramp leading to the crypt through our gardens on Lower Church Lane, the path wraps around the whole venue so you can access the Main Hall from the same path.

Old Park Hill is the best route to go, if going straight to the Main Hall and a ramp is difficult.

Parking information from venue:
The nearest car park is the NCP on Trenchard street. If you come out at level 8 on Perry road, it is a 3min walk.

You can also park on St Michael’s Hill. This is meter pay parking and for disabled parking there is single yellow lines outside The Open Arms pub on St Michael’s Hill that you can park all day.

Please note there is no private parking for the venue but it is central we do ask you look at Green travel such as buses, scooters & lift shares.
