BREATH LED WITH LUCY SPRAGGE

An immersion in Breathwork, Yoga & Sound

Join me for breath led immersions in the stunning candlelit setting of The Mount Without where we'll be exploring alerted states of being through breathwork and Kundalini Global Yoga.

In a practice of breath and posture we'll activate the energic body helping us to find deep presence, stillness, and bliss. Breath is a powerful tool we can harness to regulate the nervous system, release stress and tension, and build our capacity to feel what is there to be felt .

When we combine breath and posture it allows us to quiet our minds and open our hearts, expanding our energetic field, and accepting ourselves completely as we are. Some breaths will be energetic, some incredibly soft and gentle. Both can allow us to experience stillness.

Exploring centering and grounding ourselves

Breathwork connects the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual and helps build our capacity to feel what needs to be felt in any given moment. It is an invitation to return to our original life source medicine.

These ancient practices can significantly reduce anxiety, depression, and addictive behaviours, creating a profound sense of balance within the self. An ever-expanding body of research supports the benefits of breathwork, yoga and meditation in improving and maintaining overall mental and physical health.

One of the many beautiful aspects of working with postures and the breath is that they gift us the ability to ‘self-regulate’: the state of presence we experience removes the need to reach outside ourselves for something to soothe us. The art of these classes is to discover that you can change how you feel. Our feelings are not in our head, but in our bodies. We have autonomy, and breath and posture can change our physical and emotional state, our hormonal flow, and ultimately how we feel and experience ourselves. 

Western science is only just catching up with what indigenous people have always known.

These classes are music led and end with a crystal bowl sound bath to bring us into a deeper state of relaxation.
